I need a suggestion for a 22lr Auto

I want to get a 22lr Auto pistol. I currently have a 9mm and a 357. I also have a .25ACP.
My main reason is that I want to be able to teach my friends that don't shoot to shoot. The .25 is too small and the ammo costs too much for what it is.
I am looking for a suggestion and I have some stipulations.
1. Full size gun. Not a mouse gun.
2. Inexpensive. I don't need a bullseye gun, just a plinker. Maybe $200 or less.
3. I may eventually put a suppressor on it. I don't know what might limit a gun from being suppressor capable, but it needs to be.
4. not interested in a revolver at this time.

If you're looking to put a suppressor on it, then get a Walther P-22. If you can live without the suppressor, you would be much happier with a Ruger Mark III 22/45

I bought a Ruger Mark III512. It has 5 1/2" barrel and is FUN to shoot. I looked at the 22/45 but I didn't like the way it felf it my hands. Seemed too small. The 512 is a little more $290 but worth the money to me. Bought some Houge grips for it also.

The Ruger just plain works!
I have a 22/45 and don't need anything else.

You bet! I have a Crossman Air Pistol that is noticeably louder than the P22 supressed with CCI subs out of it. Its scary quiet, yet still effective for "pests".
