is the hammer and the spring the same in a 92 as is in a px4

The hammer on my 92FS is not plastic, on thing even close to plastic are the grips.

I don't think the PX4 and 92 series share too much.

Nothing but the grips on my 96F are plastic. Great pistol, BTW.

My brother has the 9mm PX4. Its ok, but nothing I'd spend much money on or trade any of my babies away on. I am a big fan of the 92/96/M9 series and don't care for the looks of Beretta's "fasionable" new stuff.
