LEO's chime in: i thought it was illegal for one cop to radio ahead and tell another cop the guy is speeding? just a myth?? or is this hearsay? don't they have to show you the radar if they ask?? just a couple myths i've heard

The local Police here (Jacksonville, NC PD and the state Police) like to sit on the end of the newly constructed by-pass and pop people right after work.
Just on Friday (I get friday's off as I work nights sun-thurs.) I happened to be driving by there about that time and I counted 9 cops with one person pulled over a piece all in a line. Most of these guys just got done working 12-16 hr days and are heading home to their family. Once again an easy way to generate revenue since most of those tickets are going to be paid through the mail. Never mind the pickup pulling the trailer full of various odds and ends that arent fastened down and are hanging off the sides and back of the trailer since they probably wouldn't get much money out of that anyway.
