A question for a FFL holder
I am in the fortunate position of receiving a huge bonus as part of an incentive to stay with my current company.
Here is the deal... I want to take part of the windfall that and assemble 3-4 AR's so I can own all the configs I want. And, I would like to purchase all of the lowers at once. Would this be an issue? Would it be much better to buy them over time (~ 3 months)? The last thing I want to do is draw attention for something that is legal.

Four AR lowers in a day ?
No problem there, AR's are long guns, except those registered as AR pistols. Fill out the form 4473, identify yourself to the dealer, the dealer calls NICS and you're out the door ...... after you pay for the goods
If you were buying two or more handguns within a week, I'd need to send a report to the JBT's after following the procedure above. For some obscure reason, handguns and long guns are treated differently |

That is how I presumed it to work.
I use a local FFL holder and have for years. However, he is very cautious and maybe rightlyfuly so in today's environment. I will be using another guy for this multiple purchase just to save him some grief. Thanks for the reply.

The dealer has to report multiple gun purchases to the ATF. Im not sure about the details, but I would say it might be worht buying then seperatly.
