Kel-Tec Goodies
Got a metal guide rod and finger extension base pad for my P11 today. I love kel-tec. $20 after shipping.

I was at first inclined to get the metal rod, but now after a year or so and seeing zero wear on the plastic rod and having 100% reliability since shot #1, I feel very confident with the plastic guide rod and wouldn't want to fix what ain't apparently broke! Just my opinion. Kel-Tec customer support is unbeatable. They sent me three rim-lock kits for free!!! Peace, D.

My P3AT came with the steel guide rod stock. Never heard of a plastic one for the P3AT.

They've probably since changed that. Bottom line, though...I love kel-tec. I will probably get a few more. They're cheap and reliable. I can shoot them well and they are just plain nice to have. You don't have to worry about the factory not sending you parts.
