That's a Ruger MKII with a custom grip.

That thing is really nice looking. Since I am at work and they block out all gun manufacturers websites and related sites can someone tell me how much these are going for these days. Can you only get the MKIII now though or are the MKII's still available?

That is the exact pistol I snagged two days ago for $200, just with a Hogue Rubber grip. Ruger MKII, like the other man said.

Without a doubt a Ruger MKII or MKIII will fit your budget and your needs. If you don't mind cycling the action by hand it will shoot cbs, and shorts.

I believe you should be able to find used MKIIs around but I think it'd be hard to find NIB MKIIs (even so you'd pay close to what it costs for a MKIII).

My opinion on a 22

The Ruger MK II with the 5.5" bull barrel is the best shooting 22 I have ever owned for all out accuracy. Right now I have 2 of the Walther P22's and they shoot good, not Ruger good, but o.k. The compensated model is more accurate than the short barrel.

^^^I found out at a gun show recently that most of those 'compensated' Walther 22's are actually just weighted barrels, no compensation at all, just weighted recoil.

Well I stopped by a local pawn shop the other day just out of curiousity. Thed had a Mark II in black with some wear on the front of the barrell in spots. I know that you have no idea what you are getting from these places. They have it marked at $240 but of course that is negotiable, plus it does not have the case and only one magazine. I was thinking about going back and trying to get it for $120 to $140 at the most. Who knows How it shoots But for $140 its not a huge risk.
