The best Single Stack designs
My medium hands love the single stacks, I'm going to take away the easy ones:
1911, P220, P225, Kahrs. The challenge, add some of the best single stack autoloader designs in a caliber 9mm or larger. For people that lack big mitts, this thread should be very important in selecting models or building collections, your help is appreciated.

S&W Model 39 and 3913. Their 45s and 10mils aren't bad either.

Yep, the 1911, SIG Sauer's P210, 220 and 225 are very nice. I love my 220 and 225 - they feel really good in the hand and are deadly accurate.
The Walther P-38 and P-08 Luger were also really nice single stack pistols. - Brickboy240

Rugers are good guns, but not for small hands. I would have bought one, if my hands fit them, but they didn't. I liked the 'regular' Ruger 45 better than the P345, but the guy who let me try them liked the P345 better.
I love the way Sigs feel in my hands, but I haven't had the priviledge of firing one. But I do lust after them.

BTW the Luger factory after the second war had to scramble, and build thousands of Lugers for American GIs looking for souveniers.
