For people that lack big mitts, this thread should be very important in selecting models or building collections, your help is appreciated.
You forgot the 220's little brother . . . the P245.

How deep are your pockets? The SIG 210 comes to mind but bring a loan officer along with you. Or on the other end of the spectrum the Tokarov. Cheap, Ugly, Piss poor ergonomics, Sights that point toward the stars, but reliable.

Yep, the Sig P210 runs about 3 grand, new. It is hand made/finished in the Hammerli plant in Switzerland - thats why.

The HK P7 will set you back 1000-1200 dollars, too. Very well made pistols, but out of most people's price range when looking for a 9mm.

On the Tokerev, the Polish Tokerev TT33s made in the early 50s were very nice pieces. Well finished and very nice shooters. A friend of mine has a 1953 Polish TT33 and it is as well made as a Makarov and not rough like the Russian and Chinese Toks.
