I didn't hear anything about them. I just looked them up. BM offers 2 gas piston configurations a 16" M4 A2 and an A4.

I was looking at POF-USA and I know Aries has retrofit kits.

The price is comparable to POF uppers, but they offer more configurations.

I'd be interested to see how similar or different the parts are to other systems. If you do indeed get one, post pics.

i'm under the impression that bushmaster uses POF parts, under a different name. They have exactly the same configuration as far as i can tell, with the 90degree turn to remove the gas piston...

I've been waiting, and just got the email that POF will start taking orders next week after SHOT show on there gas piston 308 uppers. That'll fit nicely into the collection I think.

I was thinking about those, so i could have a little more universally effective round than the .223. Mostly for my dad to take when he goes hunting, that .308 would be a more effective mid to big-game round than the .223... Plus the reliability and ease of cleaning? no brainer as far as i'm concerned... but i have too much experience and way too many .223 magazines to just drop them all, lol.

And for what you'll pay for the POF .308 upper you can get a JTL PTR91.. mags are uber cheap and you get a really sweet HK91 clone!

For the price of a POF, you can get a complete Sig 556

I just won the auction for the bushmaster, so i'm one more step closer. this is a slow as heck process... but its moving along. and i was looking at a sig 556, but i hadn't found a place to get one for less than 2K, at the time, so i bid on my Bushy upper.
