Need help with probably an obvious question.
I have a sub 2000 that accepts smith and wesson 59 series magazines.
Is a smith and wesson 5900 magazine considered a 59 series? I've seen sites where magazines are listed and some are listed 59 series and others 5900 but on the same site. Thanks for your time guys.

The S&W magazine progression is basically this.
The pioneer was the Model 39. Then 59, 459, 559 and 659. The 5900 series is not in the same class. I first fired my friend's father's Nickel 59. Then my friend bought a 439. I later bought a 459 and now carry a 3913. Good memories with these early Smith and Wessons.
