Went to buy an AK-47 and...
So my father in law was in town the past couple of days and we went to the local shop to buy a used AK. Well, they were all out...DARN!! So...we got to looking at the AR-15's...he ended up buying a Bushmaster Target w/ a red dot scope. We were looking at those and I've been meaning to buy a shotgun but havent had the cash. Well, they had a beautiful Benelli Supernova in all black for $349 and he bought it for me! He won about 1k at the casino on the way back from Montana to my house so he bought it for me. I can't WAIT to try it out this weekend. The kicker is he left the AR HERE for me to play with!! Told me to sight it all in and everything and I have 250 rounds. I CANT WAIT to go to the range on Sunday granted that the snow melts a bit by then. We got about a foot last night to add to the 18" already on the ground. I'll just bring my gloves though and swing the trigger guard down on the AR to allow for the gloved hand. I'll post some pictures of the two of them later today. All in all, a great day at the gun shop!!!

So no AK?
Glad your Dad did well at the Casino and shared the wealth.

Nope, no AK. Can't complain about the replacements though! Now, just have to order a tactical barrel for it and I'll be good to go. Anybody know where I can order one?

Not sure yet - I've been ordered to "break it in" for him. He'll probably come back up in a month or so but will probably leave it here until he goes back through to Montana and leave it up there. Doesnt have much use for it in Kalifornia. No complaints by me though - now the wife, shes not so thrilled about having it in the house, but what can she do right?

Yep, those Benellis are really nice. Those and the 870 are the best pumpguns going. Really, the Benelli is a steal for the quality you're getting.

So I hear, I havent shot it yet, but from what I've read online about the comfortech system it has, I cant wait to see the kick. Supposed to kick about 45% less than other pump 12ga's. Mentioned the tactical barrel to the wife and she's all for using the new Benelli for home protection and putting my XD in the drawer for her to use as a BUG. I love that woman!
