Might buy a glock 21
okay guys i might have found a good deal on a glock 21. a few questions though. any known problems with the 21's that i should know about. do they have the kaboom problem too? any comments other than the usual glock sucks and xds rock. i'd rather a sc40 to go with my xd but i've been wanting a 45 lately. also how do i tell if it's a 3rd gen.
thanks |

I had a KB with my Gen 2 G21. I was shooting 165gr CorBon +P. Glad I had that Hogue rubber slip on grip in place. Otherwise, I'd probably be fingerless.
A good deal on a Glock is when they pay you to take it off their hands.

My school's gun club owns a 21 (2nd gen I believe). Put thousands of rounds down the pipe every year, only problem we've had recently is that it's been light striking the primers. Don't know if it's an ammo thing or something with the gun itself.

I had a G21 for two years, but sold it in favor of a SW1911PD. But, the G21 was a great gun. It ate every type of ammo I put in it. Never had a malfunction.

I'd say if it's a real good deal get it. Then trade it in on an XD45.
