I want one!

Man oh man, went to a local sporting goods store here in missouri to get some pistol primeres, and the first thing I saw upon entering the gun department was an Armalite AR-50. How would that be to shoot?

The indoor-range I go to has a 50 cal for sale. They are working on setting it up for rental. (suppressor maybe?) The guy told a few customers as I was signing the waiver that they shot it in the range after hours and it blew all the fluorescent lights out, LOL.

May or may not be a true story.

Lately I've been really wanting one. But I think it might be further in the future than I want it to be.

Hi there, this is my first post, so hi to everyone!

I've actually seen one of those shot, the Armalite just like that one. Guy brought one to the range that I frequent and it was ridiculous. I was maybe 10-15 yards away when he shot it, I could feel the air forced out of my lungs from the shot. Didn't get to shoot it as its nearly $2 per shot if I remember correctly, but man it would have to be fun. The fluorescent lights being damaged doesn't sound like it would happen, but it wouldn't surprise me!

I just shot one a few weeks ago, it belonged to my friend who brought it over. It will knock you in your chest if you are standing behind and off to the side because of the huge muzzel brake, but it is very easy to shoot, very, very little recoil, much less than a 12 gauge.

Now that is an impressive weapon! By the way, phecke, how do you like your M44? I am thinking about buying one.
