Savage 114 American Classic

I hope there is at least one other individual on this board who is as hopelessly soft for an old-school, walnut stocked, american bolt action as I am. If there is, and you haven't fondled one of these babies yet, you have to. It is just as good looking as the new Remington 700 CDL, with the exception of the somewhat less than gracious savage fitting of the barrel to the action (but even that grows on you), and it is usually priced at least $100 less. Seem like a real sweet deal. If I had any money there would be one in the rack after the gunshow tomorrow; alas, law school is extortion. Anybody here got one?
