I have the Blue Book and although it lists that gun, it doesn't list a value. This is all it says:
".22 LR cal., straight pull bolt action, limited importation by Century International Arms during 1998."

I dont have any pics, I dont have a digital camera, and cant afford one. I bought it from Jax outdoor gear, dunno if you have heard of them or not, and they actually said it was a CZ. When I went to a gun shop to see about an extra magazine, the guy said it wasn't a CZ, but a BRNO. We figured that Jax thought it was a CZ because there is a symbol ingraved on it that is a Z within 3 circles. I believe this is actually the mark of the factory, that also produces CZ guns. I might or might not be correct here though, because as I am typing this, I am reading this, http://www.gunsworld.com/cz/cz_history.htm. not sure what it means exactly. It may just very well be the same company, it may be a CZ, or it may be a BRNO made in a CZ factory, I'll read the thing again and try to figure it out, and I'll do more research. If I get a chance I may try to borrow a camera from someone and show it to you.
thats all for the moment, off I go to research a bit. Nate Edit: where in Colorado are you? I'm up in Fort Collins myself. |

I did some searching on the rimfire central forums (http://www.rimfirecentral.com) and it seems like they're "okay" rifles but not upto the standard fit and finish expected from BRNO rifles. They're apparently not super accurate, but suitable for rimfire hunting uses and basic target shooting needs. Didn't see anything about the value of them so I cannot help in that respect. Maybe if you post over there at the RF-central forums they'll know what the average going price is. They're a great, helpful group. Good luck! |
