I came across their price the other day..good deal. It is for the mag lock and safety version. One without those two things runs in the mid 400's.

What don't you guys like and trust with the M&P? I know a guy that is using it in competition and feel that it is the best shooter outside of a 1911 variant. His version is a 9mm without the safties and a trigger weight of 4#.

For me, I would prefer a 5" version, not the Service length. Beyond that, it seems like a nice gun.

i dont like S&W autoloaders, and i dont trust S&W autoloaders. and as for the M&P, its too new to change my mind.

Yeah, I agree. Theres tons of other choices that I'd choose long before the M&P.

A short, lackluster ownership of a 5906 and my cousin's Sigma ordeal pretty much left me with looking to S&W for revolvers only.
