Kel-Tec P3AT

Anyone own one of these??

i bought one with 2 boxes of ammo and tax cost me right at $300 i shot 100 rounds out of it and had only 3 FTE. personally i didnt think this was that bad for a break-in period. i shot PMC and wolf gold ammo

it was fairly accurate for such a small weapon. the trigger pull for a double action was smooth

its also supposed to be the lightest and smallest .380 in the world. for the price i was happy with my buy.

this all gun though, nothing fancy about it at all. very very simple

I have one. It's fairly new. About 100 rounds through it. About 50 jacketed round nose Magtech ammo, 10 lead round nose hand loads and about 40 speer gold dots. Had one failure to feed on the second mag. That was the magtech ammo. No other problems and no issues at all with the gold dot.

Make sure to check for smilies. It's a common problem although I understand not so much with the newest generation of p3at's.

After a couple of hundred rounds, the failures will go away.
It'll never be pleasant to shoot, but it's always there...............

I had one of the 1st generation modes and traded it off. Wie got her CCW and wanted one so we bought another. She loves it, I was considering getting myself another one but now I need to look at that PF9 thing. Its always good to have a tiny gun for when you cant conceal anything else.

I bought a 3AT a few months ago and I love it. I had 2 FTE during the first 50 rounds, but nothing since. The kel tec is my anywhere, anytime gun.

I've got 100 rounds through mine and not a hickup so far.

Finally going to the range today and I'll update if anything funny happens.
