Cool HK, you're a keeper!

I had been toying around with the idea of selling my usp compact 45 for a while. I'd always liked the size of it and everything else but could never get good groups with it. I know the problem was all me because when I let some of my shooting buddies try her they would get groups that were as nice as some of the ones I'd print with my 1911. For some unknown reason the usp would never shoot that well for me.

Well, the other day I went out to the camp to go shooting and brought the HK along to shoot one last time before putting her on the market. Normally the usp would throw the rounds all over a B-27 target (for me at least). This time however the old gal kept all the rounds in the 10 ring at 15 yards. I couldn't believe it, so I loaded up a few more mags: same result. I tried different ammo, same thing. Rapid fire as quick as I could reaquire sight picture just opened up the hole a little.
I took the usp out again today and it's still shooting tight groups. None of this makes any sense to me, but hey, I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.
It goes without saying that the hk usp compact ain't going anywhere.
Just thought I'd share my good fortune.
