Got my first .357

I recently sold my Kel-Tec P-11 to a friend of mine, and while I was in a local shop Saturday I noticed a revolver sitting on the bottom shelf. I asked to see it and when he handed it to me it just kinda clung to me. No matter what I tried I just couldn't walk out without this gun. It's a gently used pre-lock Taurus 3" model 66 with case-hardened trigger and hammer. I'll put up a picture as soon as I can.

And you probably bought it for next-to-nothing.

$270 after tax, came with a Houge MonoGrip, original wood grips, and a cheap field holster.

Awesome. Mine has the case-hardened trigger / hammer too. Is that something they don't do anymore?

Make sure you have good ear plugs when you go to fire it.... Good pick up and would be a great car gun. I've got a S&W 357 Mag 686 w/ 6" barrel and is my hunting companion.

I bought a 617 7 shot 357 a while back and I love it. But at least once out of every cylinder some powder will fly out and hit me in the cheek just below my left eye (i'm right handed). Must wear saftey glasses while shooting this. This has happened with every brand of ammo I have tried. All I know is it's like wow+ow=fun+pain.
