Bought up a Kel-tec p-3at today
Need to get it added to my permit so i can take it home tomorrow. The XD isn't small enough to carry all the time. I needed something to carry occasionally when my clothes don't hide the xd-40SC.
I went in to window shop... and came out with trijicon night sights for the XD, the Kel-tec, a box of ammo for the .40 and some gun cleaner. oops I'll be sure to post how it shoots. Hopefully my holster comes in soon. High Noon said it was a "stock item" so it should ship immediately. Thought i'd share my good news. I love new toys |

I've had mine for a year and carry it all the time. I got a Guru Dave's 2in1 pocket holster and highly recommend it. I also had mine Tuff Coated by Macs refinishing. Added a little florecent paint to the front sight, and a bycycle tube around grip. Here is a pic to compare sizes. I need to update it w/ my upgrades.

After I ordered it I realized that only the right hand model was a stocking item so it's going to be a 4-8 weeks before it ships. |

justfish, how does your wife like her p22? I like the looks, but I've heard bad things about them; how has your experience been? I like your buckmark; I'm actually picking one up this week or so...

I shot it a little today. about 50 rounds of magtech 95 gr. jacketed round nose then about 12 rounds of some round nose lead handloads. Not sure of bullet or powder weight. Ended it with about 50 rounds of speer gold dot 90 gr. JHP. I had 1 failure to feed on the second mag with the jacketed round nose. The gun is new and probably needs some more shooting to loosen things up. After that I didn't have a single problem. I cant say how accurate it is. We were shooting at a dead tree at about 25 feet. Groups were probably about 6" but we didn't have a point of aim so that doesn't mean much.
Odd thing about it is that it throws the empties about 20 feet behind you and to the right. We couldnt find where they were going at first. Oh and it's so thin and small that the recoil hurts a little. I'll probable shoot some more tomorrow so i'll post again after that. |

Yeah from what I hear they are pretty snappy on the recoil like the bersa's.
Someday I'll have one in the stable.
