If you had to pick one ACOG for your AR, which would you choose and Why?

I have EoTech. Looking for magnified past 400 yards. thanks though.

If you want Magnification beyond 300 yds you are going to want the 6x. Stay away from the amber triangle they have had problems with that reticle. For the money a high end variable will do a better job and give you true precision at longer ranges. For the average civilian the ACOG is a tremendous waste of money but is considered to be Uber Tacticool among range commando's. Truthfully if you are willing to wait a few years the price on one will probably drop a lot after they have fulfilled the military contracts.

Get a Leupold Mk. 4, ACOG's are decent, but for 400 yards I'd want something more built for the job.

Well my local gun deal has the 31F for $1150, but I have to say I releif is not what I thought it should be. How I wish there was a 1x6x??mm with a red dot, and range scale for under $700.
