Don't forget to post your 3/8" groups at 100 yards...... Those are SWEEEEET guns. you're going to love it. I own the same one (basically). It's not the fancy skeleton thumbhole stock though. Those are actually somewhat hard to find still. Post some range pics!!!!! I can't wait to get a semi-cool day on the weekend to get out and shoot the 17hummer.

I wanted a Savage 17 HMR and settled for my Marlin... only really wanted the Savage to match my Model 10FP and for the Accu-Trigger, but they didnt offer it until after i bought the one I own now. VERY happy with it though.

I just built myself a .22lr. I can afford to shoot .17 I am going to buil one eventualy mabe a .17remington. Talk about a but round (centerfire though).
