well my buddie bought one form there bout 5 months ago and paied about 489 but the one here no longer carrys them

I'd say that's good to average for the CX4 Carbine. I've seen them for a little less and a lot more.

I have shot the 9mm carbine and though it was fun, with no recoil and not much noise or muzzle climb, the trigger was just flat out terrible. I could have grouped much better with the thing if I was not grappling with the gosh-awful heavy, stagey trigger.

If the trigger could be improved upon, this would be a very good little carbine.

The price you listed sounds average. I have seen used ones for 500 bucks at gunshows.

I have a CX4, and you are right, the trigger is rough. I had a trigger job done by Tactical Excellence for about $85 plus shipping. Since then I have spent lots more $$$ on stuff for the CX4, but the trigger work was the best money spent by far. Made it way smoother and lighter pull. Makes a great combo with my XD 9,

why bother.... for $100 more u can build a wicked AR-15. then your dealing with a much more potent round, much more versatility, and better accuracy. i saw a guy shooting a 9mm storm today and it sounded like a .22. storms are cute, i even considered one..but at the end of the day theyre just gay.
