range report stag ar

Finally, got to shoot my new stag ar 15.It performed flawlessly with rem.,blackhills and lc surplus.Only had access to fifty yards, with the black hills and iron sights it would make one ragged hole rested.
My only complaint is the front sight is canted and had to run the rear sight almost all the way to the right to zero.
I'm undecided on if I'll send the upper back to get straightened out or not.I bought a leupold scope for conventional stuff and an aimpoint for other stuff. For 710.00 it appears to be a best buy...

My gun had a similar problem. Although I don't see any noticeable cant in the front post, the rear Arms 40 BUIS has to be adjusted all the way to the right ( close to the right ) in order to shoot straight.

However, I plan on replacing my front post with a flip up front post, so I'll be keeping it.

Could the barrel be over-torqued like some of the Bushmasters a few years back? I'd definitely want them to correct this.

Boricua,a guy that works on ars told me if the barrel was over torqued I would have to adjust the rear sight the other way.I don't know, this is my first one and I'm learning about em.
