Picked up a new tactical shotgun
I had been thinking of a new home defense shotgun for a while and since I hadn’t added shotgun of any type to the collection in about 7 years I decided I would get something I really liked.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s a new Benelli M4 Tactical model 11707 (with all the updates like the 2 port barrel), I picked it up today NIB and just got back from putting 100 rounds through it, I would have shot more but it got too dark on me but from what I shot I couldn’t be any happier with it, it’s an awesome shotgun. Now all I need is a +2 extension and maybe the factory collapsible stock

Thanks guys
The M4 was designed to be the new US JSCS (Joint Service Combat Shotgun) and unlike most Benelli shotguns it's gas operated, it was tested at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1998-99 and officially adopted as the new JSCS in 2001 as the M1014, from what I have heard it’s doing a pretty good job in Iraq. I need to shoot it more to really grade it but it has a very fast cycle time, it points great, it stays on target well even with heavy loads, it cycled my somewhat light loads even with a limp off shoulder grip and it feels extremely well made. O I paid $1449 + tax.
