My first Kimber

I went into the gun store this morning and had intended to buy one box of Hornady TAP ammo in .45. On the way back to the ammo shelves, I saw the counter guy putting something shiny behind the glass. I must be attracted to shiny items, 'cause next thing I knew I was standing at the counter looking at a Kimber conversion kit, 22lr on your .45 frame. Great, I had seen these around, and never really thought about getting one. I asked the counter guy what the price was, he didn't know. He said that one had been ordered months ago and the guy who ordered it never showed up, it just stayed in the back on a shelf. He called around the store, finally a manager came back and gave me a price of 220, with a 100 rounds of 22lr. I never did make it to the ammo shelves for my TAP ammo. Maybe next trip, as long as nothing shiny is in the gun case!

You now have some inexpensive shooting. It'll pay for itself after a while. Good choice, and you can get the other next time!!
