Anyone know of a good place to buy quality wood grips for revolvers? I have a 6 inch Ruger GP100 SS and was looking for smooth finger grooved grips. I found this site http://www.grips4guns.com/revolver/ruger/gp100.html but it's hard to tell how nice the grips look without actually seeing them in person. Also, any opinions on what would look best on stainless steel? I am torn between a red color like rosewood / cocobolo or a silver black color. Thanks.

I really like the rosewood grips on a stainless handgun. I think that looks terrific.

I agree with bamabowtie. For the price, it is hard to beat Hogue.

Hogue has a great selection of grips. Give Eagle Grips a look as well.
Finally, it is either Frenchy or Ed Ely that has some custom grips by someone I cannot recall, but they are very nice!
