What's the difference between these 1911's?
The Springfield armory
PX9152L and the
PX9154L

It looks like the rear sight and that's it? Is that the only diference? Thanks.

The 52 has the adjustable night sights as you saw. It also has an ambi-safety which you may not have noticed. As far as I know those are the differences. They should perform the same. Same barrel, same ignition system, same basic gun. Those Bomar night sights are an expensive upgrade.

9152L has adjustable night sights, an ambi-thumb safety, and the mags have slam pads.

Does one have a mag well while the other doesn't? I found (what I thought what) a decent price on one 689 for the 'cheaper' model. I have no need for adjustable sights. But will probably end up putting on night sights. I have no need for the slam pads or 'dual' safety. I'm a righty.

I love the look of the gun, I find it one of the prettiest I've seen.

The PX9152L also has the extended mag well (which is one of the reasons why the mags come with slam pads). At http://www.springfield-armory.com/pr...-1911-fs.shtml the PX9154L is referred to as the Tactical Combat Black Stainless Steel, while the PX9152L is referred to as the Black Stainless™
