Refinish Stock (before & after pics)
I decided to refinish my Yugo stock. I wanted to be careful to preserve markings and the character (scratches, stampings,etc) that existed on it. So I didn't want to sand too much. I also matched the stain to the original the best I could because I wanted to preserve much of the original look. I used hand rub polyurethane (6 coats).
Well on with the pics. It is difficult to capture the before & after contrast with a crappy camera; but this is the best I could do: Before: ![]() After: ![]() Before: ![]() After:
