Something fell off my Springer 1911!!!!!
Its my Loaded Black Stainless. Well, its not serious but it was the screw or bolt that holds the extended mag well to the frame. Anyone know what I can use to keep this thing from falling out?

It sounds like the mainspring housing pin - - - that pin is held in by a spring snapping into a groove in the pin. Sounds like gunsmith time 'cause that ain't supposed to happen it takes a good bit of force to remove that pin normally.

If you are talking about the screw on the bottom,
if you back it out, put a little Loctite on the threads (Blue would probably work), and tighten her back up, you should be good to go. |
