Yep, Saiga.....VePR, IMI Galil, Zastava, and Mitchells makes/had them.

An AK can handle anything.......-.223, 7,62x39... 5,45x39.5 ...7,52x54r... 8mm...-.30-'06...- .308...9x54r.. -.338LM...-.50... 12.7x108 ...14.7x118.. 20mm, just about anything. I would love to see a milled AK in 45-70

Well, Im goin with an AK probably a saiga. Should I get a scope, what kind should I get? Im not looking to surpass $250 for a scope.

I'll leave the glass opinons to ppl who know more than I.I only have a scope on my Winchester 30-06,a simmons 44mag works great but for the AK... I dunno.I had one on my AR but didnt work for me,I like open sights on my AR an AK.Good luck for a good choice!
