Bersa 380
Anyone have any experience with this gun. Thinking of picking one up for carry in real light clothes. Any input will be appreciated.

Mike98T: I have 2 of them had them about 2+ years one of them has close to 3K rounds thru it never had ftf or fte I love them for warm weather carry they work fine in jeans and T-shirt cover up easily or in the front pocket for that matter i think they are one of the most underrated pistols out there good quality and value. With that said I would rather have my Kimber Pro Raptor or My XD in 9mm or 40 but with some of the places I go it's not possible!! try one out if you can I like mine with the factory 9 round mags( big Hands ) and getting old ( arthritis ) but mine points and shoots well good groups 2 to 3 inch at 10 to 15 yds. Hope this helps Good Luck Tom

Ditto on the previous report. I have one and have not had a single problem with it....very similar to my Makarov, a little better feeling thought and much better stock sights.

I have had a Bersa Thunder 380 for about six months. I have put rubber Hogue grips on it which was an improvement on an already good gun. It didn't like Hornady HP rounds, jammed almost every attempt to load. So I fill the mag with FMJ. I dropped it on a hard floor and broke the slide catch, but a replacement was easily found. It points well, feels good in my hand, doesn't flip up much and so the second shot is quick, pretty accurate too. Mine is duo tone. I really like this gun. With a 7 shot clip I wouldn't take it to a war, but it carries easily.

I've had two, one blue and one dual tone.
The dual tone has been flawless. The blue has had a problem with feeding hollow points and some ball ammo but was worked on. I love em. They are a little snappy to shoot, but as a quick self defense gun they are excellent well built firearms. On most of them you just have to find what ammo it likes and stick with it.

Don't own one but have shot several . Great pistols if you like the .380.
Would choose one over a Walther PPK in a heartbeat for the same price. nunnya |
