Buckmark problem

anyof you guys had a problem with your buckmarks?my brand new one is having a problem with the trigger.the rod that disengages the trigger bar is coming out of the notch and keeping it from firing the first time you pull the trigger with a fresh mag.after pulling trigger once the rod falls back in and lets the trigger bar engage the sear mechanism.

If its brand new, call them and send it back under warranty. Don't mess with it yourself.

I've had a Buckmark Camper model for a little over a year. I clean it religiously after each 550 round brick and now have have cleaned the magazines for the first time. I think I have at least 3000 rounds through it. When I take it to the range it does a lot of shooting. You obviously got a faulty gun. Send it back. This is the first negative report I have heard about a Buckmark.

Me too. I've had my Buckmark Standard for 5 years and it has thousands and thousands of rounds through it without any problems unless I let it get too dirty. Something is just wrong for it to do that out of the box, although I can't really picture what you are saying is happening.

mine has a mag safety.whenyou drop the mag theres a rod under the right grip panelthat pulls the trigger bar down where it will not engage the sear mech. With the slide locked back and fresh mag :when you release the slide to chamber a new round.this rod comes out of the notch ithe bar.ill try to post a pic to show what im talking about.

Yeah post pics if you can. I bet the mag safety is what is throwing me off.

That's really odd. I'd definitely say just send it back.

And when did they put mag safeties in Buckmarks??
