Finally Did It. Bought a safe.
Well I finally got around to purchasing a safe. The woman said no more guns until I got something to safely store them in. I picked up a Sentry Safe 14 Long Gun Fire Safe. Damn thing weighs 425+LBs. However I feel better knowing it isn't easy access to the guns. Even with gun locks still isn't the same as having a safe.

I'm in the market too. What did you pay ... and how did you haul it home?

$400 after taxes. Safe cost was $369.99. I hauled it home in my Suburban. After seeing them use the dolly to move it around it made me wish I had one. My buddy and I couldn't pick the damn thing up for more than about 10 seconds and that is about enough time to settle in in my hands and then set it back down. We had to walk it through my garage.

Let's take bets on how long it takes him to decide that he needs another one.
I'm gonna put my money on 1 week. Both congrats and thanks for getting a safe -- it's definitely more responsible, and puts your mind to rest when you leave the house.
