Im sure many know of them being introduced at shot show. I found this article on what the changes made are. I was hoping grip safety.

I really like the grip safeties.

I hope some of the Glock fanboys that said the XD copied the Glock will read this. It sounds like an XDM to me. I have nothing against Glocks, but I hate XD bashers. If they change the angle of the grip, I think I will have to buy one.

I thought it was interesting too. I don't own a glock but if were to carry one I was hoping for the grip safety.

Is it just a particular safety mechanism you can't do without? Personally, I look at the grip safety as just another mechanical piece that could fail.

Its just something that prefer. Gives me peace of mind when holstering.

I own two glocks (working on a 3rd) and two XD's. I like them both. I prefer the safety features on the XD, but I also like Glock mags better. Either way, I like guns.

A guy I know has had some info on these for a while...he said it's going to be similar to an XDm, sans grip safety. I doubt the grip angle will change much, either.

Adjustable backstraps will be nice IMO...I've been thinking about grabbing an M&P lately because the Crimson Trace lasers can be put used as the backstrap...whereas with a Glock it's just more material all the way around.

The ambi slide lock won't interest me much, neither will the switchable mag release. I guess it's a good thing for lefties...

All in all IMO the perfect Glock would only have the backstrap recontoured and possibly make it removable/adjustable...and get rid of those damn finger grooves. Throw in a stipple job and call it a day.

Royally screwed up intelligent analytic mind. We need more laws to protect these three rights. Ban guns in schools, it obviously works.
