So i figured out what Im gonna do.

New slide assembly

new forend

take paint off my buttstock (what will do that)

18.5 In barrel

light mount

tan stock pack
light

I have a synthetic stock and im gonna strip the paint so its black. I wanna cut down the price a little.

IIRC there is a company called HavlinSales that sells a lot of parts for Mossbergs stocks,forarms,etc. If you decide you want something you might check them out. I don't have a link it's been a while you'd just have to google.

For those looking for the wood stock and forearm its $45 at havlinsales and for the walnut stock its $95

try using acetone or denatured alcohol on the stock.

take it off the gun first, and rub just a little on it in a place that won't be too noticeable incase it reacts bad to the plastic.

I'd hold off on the acetone. That would likely melt the plastic right quick. Denatured alcohol should be fine though.
