Damn I LOVE Moly pics Beretta
This is my latest project that has been ongoing for months. Mostly because of the weather, rain and high humidity prevented me from using the airbrush and the sandblaster at times.
It's a Compact Beretta 92, 13rd magazine. Moly Resin in flat black and the tan color was a custom mix by me (tan, black, gunmetal grey). I wanted a darker version of Coyote Tan, but not quite FDE. Might be a little darker than I wanted, it got a little darker after a coat of oil (not that you need oil with moly). I updated the mainspring and bought the WOLFF Trigger Conversion which is an awesome upgrade from the factory trigger spring. Much lighter DA/SA trigger pull. Polished the internals and coated the sear in moly so it's smooth as glass. New rubber grips and a few extra mags, one sweet piece. Rather than doing a traditional park job, I used a spray on substitute made by KG GunKote to seal the metal of the barrel. Probably wasn't needed, but i had it lying around Had a few problems getting a good photo of the after, I just need to upgrade my camera I guess, but I'd rather spend the money on more firearm projects. but you get the idea: Before:   After:

WOW!!!! That looks sharp. I have a 92FS and can imagine what it would look like with those colors. Hypothetically speaking, how much would you charge to do that?
