Maybe 4 or 5 hours. It's a bi*ch to disassemble, it has REALLY small pins in the safety levers. I had to make tools to disassemble it. Then sandblast, clean, tape, spray, bake, clean, reassemble. Now that I have the proper tools, I could probably do it quite a bit quicker.

As a one man shop, probably around the neighborhood of $185. I'll probably put this one up for sale soon, I just love doing projects and making something out of nothing. Time to finish that Browning HP project. CZ-82 is in the oven as we speak!!

The barrel is not fixed, but it also does not 'tilt' like most modern pistol designs. Also, there is sufficient room (gap) between the slide and the barrel. Also, Moly Resin is really tough and self lubricating which helps against any wear. And it's always lubed in the right spots.
