I've never shot one, so I don't know about the bite. I know that my 1911 has a traditional hammer, and doesn't cause me a problem.
The Bersa would make a nice mate for my CZ-82, and it definitely may be something my fiance would like.

Congrats on your new baby. I bought my first Bersa back in the mid 80's. That one is long since gone but I never had one problem with it. My wife had one for awhile before she decided to go 9mm. I have been thinking about getting another one now that they have the .380 plus with a 15 round mag. have fun and shoot alot of ammo, Dave

She just might like it, and with todays Self Defence ammo it sure isn't the .380's of the past. I shoot Hornaday Critical Defence JHP rounds in my Kt P3at and have no doubt they will get the job done if needed.

I too use Hornaday Critical Defence JHP in my Smith 642 snub.

I was just thumbing through my latest SOG flier, and I see your gun is going for $249.95. Shipping is about $15.00 and my transfer is $20.00.

The Duotone and Deluxe Blue for the same money!

That sounds like a good price. I paid more than that for the Satin Nickel finish but I think (hope) it will hold up a little better being I'm going to carry it allot on my hip. Time will tell I guess.??

mdbullet.. That's what the XD9 SC is for, winter carry and questioable neighborhoods. In my area though 7+1 in a 380 should be more than enough.

Congrats Bluto. I have one in a duo-tone. Were you the one talking about buying one of these awhile back?

I had a Bersa .380 and liked it. It ended up in a trade for another gun, though. I'll get another sometime. My new Sig P238 is lonely.

Yes I was,and thanks. I just needed to do a little more homework on it before I got the warm and fuzzies and put some of my retirement money on it. That and I was waiting to find a Satin Nickel model. I saw this one about a month ago but was not ready to buy yet. It was raining today and I finished remodeling a Rec. room the other day, So I figured I'd take a ride to the gun shop and see if by chance they still had it. I even took some Snap caps with me to help me make up my mind one way or the other. The action seemed tight, I guess that's do to it's solid mounted barrel, and the trigger impressed me allot with it's smoothness. The gun has a nice feel to it. I'm big on having options when it comes to CC,ing and I think this one is going to find a home somewhere between the XD9sc and the P3at. It's also the only gun I own that isn't black on black. I have to hang some doors tomorrow if the rain stops long enough for me to pick them up,but as soon as I get the time and the weather is half way nice I'll shoot it. I'm really looking foward to it, and if it shoots as good as it feels then I'll know if it really is a keeper or not.
