rofl...dear lord.
but yeah, a .45 doesn't do that much.
you want real knockdown power, make a gun that launches a 16 pound ebonite.
I need to go get some and see what the bigger .30 cal rifles will do, SKS and Moisin Nagant for the time being.

We can test out a Mosin Nagant on one for you Saturday as well

they've had guns that launch 16 pound ebonites for hundreds on years...they're called cannons.....hard as sh*t to carry concealed...constantly printing.
Seriously Tom....I'm heading back to the hardware store tomorrow to pick up some pink paint and make you a special pin for you to shoot saturday....too bad I don't have any tanerite laying around.

I have about 2 dozen of those bad boys. The best targets ever. EVER!!! It has help up to everything we've thrown at it. 9mm, .40, .45, .357, .44, literally a couple thousand rounds of .22, .223, .308, .30-06, .38, 00 buck, 000 buck, 12 ga slug, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, I can't think of what else.
Nothing serioulsy huge has been shot at it, no .50 bmg, no .338 LM or .300 WM, but everything that would normally be in a gun safe.
Like has been said before the neck and head can be shot off relatively easy. Body is much tougher. I have several pins that have bulges on the back side, I really want to cut them open and see what they are holding in. I'll have to take a picture of some of my more beat up pins. But they are still ticking.
