***update***
I went to the range again after cleaning the Buckmark. I tried the Federal ammo again to see if the issue was still there. I was surprised after the first magazine that all rounds fired properly. The second and subsequent magazines had issues, but most failures to eject. After the first 50 rounds I switched to the CCI ammo. The CCI rounds made a larger pop, so I think they were significantly more powerful round. The first and second magazine with the CCI's went smoothly and I was thinking the problems were solved. Unfortunately, had more issues with the third magazine on. In multiple magazines I had the round get jammed in the barrel so tight I needed to pry them out with a metal alan wrench. I intended on putting 200 rounds through it at the range but stopped after a 100.
Went back to Cabela's to see what I should do with gun. I wanted to see how much they would give me for a trade-in for the 1 month old gun. The guy at Cabela's said we don't need any more Buckmarks but would offer me $100. I politely said "no" and decided to ship the gun back to Browning for repair/diagnosis. I'll be waiting a while to get it back, but hope for better luck.
