Picked up a Ruger LCP.380 paid $325.00.
At first glance it looks alot like the kel tec P3AT

But thats about where it stops. The overall fit/finish of the gun is far better than the P3AT as well as the trigger (no gritty feeling) , even racking the slide feels better like everything is machined well.
Took the gun apart to clean and oil then ran a 9mm bore snake through it a few times.
Took out back and shot without stopping other than to reload.
10 rounds of speer gold dot 90gr. No problems.
30 rounds of various round ball in various weights. No problems
20 more rounds of speer gold dot 90 grain. No problems.
I also shot at a line of water filled milk jugs with the little 90gr.gold dot bullet. I fired the gun at about 4-5 feet from the target.
The gold dot made it through 2 jugs and into the 3rd. The bullet expanded but all the pedals peeled off and fragmented. I did the same test 2 times total with the same results.
The gun has a long trigger pull but thats not a bad thing due to the fact I may just drop it in a pocket from time to time. The gun fits a fobus holster made for the P3AT perfectly.
I was happy it dident have any problems. But on the negitive end I was pulling my shots down a litte low...Not do to bad recoil or anything of the sort . The fact I have very large hands I tend to pull the gun down as Im squeezing to get the trigger pulled all the way back.
I also have to watch out for my thumb getting in the way of my trigger finger.
That said the gun works fine for whats its made for (up close and personal).
