Henry's are very nice.
Super smoooooth action.
I started out with a Golden Boy 22 Win Mag for my wife. I picked up a 357 Mag Big Boy for me,.....

I got a Golden Boy Saturday also, like you I have been looking and thinking about them for a while.
I won mine at the Friends of the NRA dinner. I figure that I spent a total of $235 which was for three meal tickets, Bucket Tickets, and three other games I paid to play trying to win a gun, so that isn't a bad price for an evening of fun and a Golden Boy.
I am curious what they are out the door at a Gun Shop. If they shoot as nice as they feel like they should, I may have to pick one up in a pistol caliber. In Indiana you can dear hunt with rifles in pistol caliber.
Congratulations on your new Henry and I know exactly what you mean about going to the gun shop with no intentions to buy anything and going home with a new gun. My last buy like that was a Ruger LCP earlier this year.
