If found a 92FS here locally at a shop that isn't exactly known for low prices for 375 dollars.
A quick check on gun broker reveals NIB prices of 400-600 dollars.
I would try to get him down to AT LEAST 500 if not lower.

Last year I bought a M9 at Sportsmans Warehouse for $499 (10 round mags) and then later bought a 92FS (16 round mags) at Bass Pro for $459.

I have a beretta 92fs I got from Academy for 499 + Tax. Came with two 15rd mags. BTW it is the italian version. I think its a little more accurate than my SA XD 45 TAC.

What is the difference between the M9 and 92FS? I'm curious.

M9= made in USA
92FS= made in Italy
IIRC all the differences are cosmetic except for different sites.

The differences between the M9 and 92FS: - The M9 usually has a straight dustcover and non-radiused backstrap (Contract Pistols will always be straight/straight)
- The 92FS (recent model) has a radiused backstrap and angled dustcover
- M9 markings (including proof markings and cage # markings)
- M9 lacks the warning to read owner's manual
- The rear sight of the 92FS has 2 dots, whereas the M9 has a single half-moon
- M9 (unless special or limited edition) comes in cardboard box, with no plastic hard case
(Taken from the beretta forum)
Also, not all 92FS are Italian made. In fact, Ital made 92's are getting more rare as the days pass. And nearly ALL M9's are US made (some of the first runs "may have been" 100% italian parts assembled in the US) US Made berettas can contain italian parts though. The difference between Ital and US models? Beyond the markings on them? Nothing. One is not more accurate, better finished, better fit, etc. They are IDENTICAL.
Also there is a newer M9A1 which has it's own differences.
