Best carbine?
Ok the Hi-Point thread got me to wondering what you folks think is the best overall carbine. For this discussion we will limit it to pistol calibers but not .22s. 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP etc, nothing exotic and expensive to shoot as far as ammo.
Points to consider:
Price
Reliability
Coolness factor
Accuracy
I had to throw the price point in there to keep the AR and MP5 from running away with it.

I have a .40 Ruger PC-4 that I really like. It's lot's of fun and very accurate at 50 to 100 yards. I paid around $425.00 for it new.

My favorite to shoot was a good friends Marlin Camp Carbine in .45ACP. I loved it and he's offered to sell it to me . . . I may still take him up on it.
As for your requirements, I'd say a Beretta CX4 in 9 or 40. Followd up by a Ruger PC9 or PC4. There's also the option for a 9mm AR.

I am looking for a decent inexpensive pistol caliber carbine that you can actually get decent capacity magazines for. And they are hard to find. I wish HS would build one that uses XD magazines.
