The full size P220 was once offered in 9mm and 38super in addition to 45acp, the P225 is a compact.
I own Sig pistols made in Germany, Germany/USA and USA, all have been great pistols.

According to the page I read it has practically the same measurements as a XD45. A Sig is still a Sig, but I'm disappointed that there is not a truly compact .45 from Sig.

Haha! You never miss a beat! I found that exact model to be my favorite - but the measurements are a little bigger than my XD45..I guess I'll have to accept the fact that the XD45 is as small as a .45 should be and still allow one's pinky to have a hold on the gun. Someday I will have a Sig, and a smaller .45 would be a good excuse to get one sooner.
