Anyone collect WWII firearms?

I recently started collecting WWII firearms. I've been into them ever since my grandpa let me shoot his German Luger when I was about 8. I was at a local gunstore and happened to catch sight of a nice looking M1 Carbine. I came back the next day to buy it and the bug has had me since then.

This is my M1 Carbine:

And this is my 1944 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant M44:

Those are the only two I have right now since I decided to bankrupt myself with this XD40.

Anyone else collect C&R Firearms?

Edit: Also, for those of you into M1 Carbines there's a new forum for them that I just found. http://m1carbineforum.forumco.com/default.asp

I have a Luger, Mauser, an SA dagger of non-US. The Garand is my beauty though. I've had a love for Garand ever since I first handled one for rifle drill in JROTC.

The only other gun I REALLY want is a Thompson.

I have a No. 1 Mk. III rifle and I'm currently searching for just the right Mosin Nagant! As soon as the CMP gets the Garands back in stock, I'm snaggin' one of those, too!

I have one M1 Garand ... it's not WW-II era (in fact made after the Korean War) but she sure is a nice shooter.

That's a very impressive collection! That 91/30 in the 2nd picture looks pristine. I just filled out the form for my C&R tonight. In 6-8 weeks I hope to begin expanding my collection.

EricCartmann, those are the two rifles I want most for my collection. I will consider the American part of my collection complete once I can say I own an M1 Garand, Carbine, and a 1903. I'll add a GI model 1911 eventually but that will come after I have completed the rest of my collection.

I have no C&R firearms at the moment, but a gun show is coming up this weekend and I will be on the lookout for a K31 or perhaps a 91/30...
