Question Calling all MARLIN Experts!

A friend of mine here at work wants to sell me a Marlin Glenfield model 75 .22LR. I know next to nothing about the rifle, but the rifle has a borken stock...I am hoping someone can tell me a bit more about the rifle and the availability of a replacement stock...

THANKS ALL!

Is this model magazine fed or tube fed. I have a model 70 that is mag fed. The stocks are the same I believe with the exception of the cutout for the tube for the model 60s

Is it a 75C? If so, it looks like the 60 and 75 can use the same stock.

I'd try Gun Parts Corp. in NY. They should have that stock or be able to tell you if they interchange with the Mod60 Marlin...I am betting it will.

thanks for all of the input guys! The Marlin is tube fed, but from what i can tell most of the stocks are interchangeable...I bought one off of Ebay yesterday for $36, hopefully it will fit...if not, dah well....I only paid $30 for the rifle, so if it takes me a while to get it right, no big deal... it is gonna be a project

Thanks again, guys!

I have a Marlin 75C, and it is one very fun gun! Marlin actually sells replacement stocks for them, and they are cheaper than Midway. I bought the pepper laminated stock for my 75C, its a direct drop in.

My father gave me this 75C many years ago, its rock solid reliable.
