Serious lack of self control! (i.e. Bought a new AR upper)
I have had a half complete AR-15 project kicking around for quite a while. I knew exactly what I wanted the finished product to look like, but I was being wishy-washy on the actual parts selection (barrel, 4-rail tube, etc, etc).
So this afternoon I was bored and started surfing GunBroker (a BAD thing to do when I'm bored). I was just doing random searches for things I might be interested in when, lo-and-behold, I found an AR upper that was EXACTLY what I've been looking for.
Behold... The DPMS AR-15 Commando Style 4-Rail Dissapator Upper!
So... I bought it

I was thinking about a Bushnell Holosight, but I might just get a 2-7x scope for it. That way I'm good out to a few hundred yards anyway.

In anticipation of the upper arriving this week, I decided to finally build my lower. Other than a stubborn trigger-gaurd roll-pin, everything went swimmingly... Except that I forgot where I put my JP Enterprises reduced power spring kit. 
I've pretty much decided that I already hate the stock, though. And I haven't even fired it yet. But, I have some time for it to grow on me before the upper comes in.
