Anyone Have Any Expereince With Shooters Arms?

Found a Shooters Arms 1911 .45 ACP clone for sale (new) at Century Arms for $329.87 (+S/H and FFL tx fees - should come out somewhere around $375 by the time I'm done with tax and registration fees). Anyone have any experience with this brand?

5" barrel, 7 shot mag, fixed combat sights, round top on the slide - looks pretty good - but I've never heard of them.

Are you sure it's not a Rock Island, perhaps relabeled?
They're the only ones I know of that go for that kind of price.

Shooters arms are made in the Phillipines.They are not the same as armscor,charles daly.etc..I was gonna buy one a couple of years ago to play with,but got a norinco instead.
The fit and finish seem to vary a good bit.They also made some iai pistols.
The slides are made from billet,the frames are cast.

For that price you can get an American made Auto-Ordiance 1911 A1.
